This is an easy recipe for making your own homemade solution – see the graphic above for details or read below…

Ingredients
1 cup Bicarbonate of Soda
2 cups of Borax Substitute
2 cups of Washing soda / Soda Crystals*
1 bar of grated Castile soap (scented is fine)
20+10 drops of essential oil (Lemon & Clove for Citrus soap, Eucalyptus & Citrus for Eucalyptus soap, Lavender & Peppermint for Lavender soap)

* You can also make your own washing soda by cooking Bicarb in the oven- just place the amount of Bicarb you wish to crystallise in an oven proof dish, and bake in the oven on 200C degrees for about 30-60mins, remove from the oven and let it cool before use!!

Method
Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container, this mixture will last you 40 washes if you use 2 tablespoons per wash.

For stubborn stains, you may wish to use Oxygen Bleach Paste:

Combine 1:1 ration of Hydrogen Peroxide and Washing soda / Soda crystals. Mix well into paste, add a little water before adding this to your washing machine.

For fabric conditioner, just use white (distilled) vinegar!
